The Foundation provides pro bono legal services to ensure access to social justice to the following category of people namely:
Land claims:
Fighting for victim’s of unfair and injust land claims making sure their claim is recognised
The Executive Director: Adv NE Malgas won a case at the Mpumalanga High Court, Division for damages of an amount of R3, 5 million rand. Part of the funds will be channeled to the programmes of the Foundation!
Indigent:
Individuals who are in need of legal services and have no access to social justice.
Victims of domestic violence:
In most cases victims of domestic violence are women that are unemployed and are vulnerable.
Children:
Children are the most vulnerable and always at the receiving end of domestic violence and rape.
Children Awaiting Trial in South Africa’s Correctional Facilities:
In South Africa there is a large number of children awaiting trial in correctional facilities.
Farm Dwellers and labour Tenants:
Unlawful and illegal evictions are a permanent feature of South Africa’s political landscape and farm dwellers and labour tenants being at the receiving end.
Unfair Dismissal:
Unfair dismissal is a trend that has become commonplace in South Africa.
